In a series of interviews of local Eastern Shore residents in 1978, Salisbury University students and teachers collected folk life material. For this collection, Jean Muehleisen chose to cover the tales told in her husband's family to preserve tradition. These stories used to be told by Teresa Bolbecker Trees who was an austrian-hungarian immigrant. Her children are the principal informants in this report.
